The HAZWOPER training program is primarily meant for employers and employees who are exposed to hazardous waste materials. Our training program at A&H covers a wide range of topics, including safety procedures, emergency response planning, and the proper handling of hazardous materials. Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response which is a set of guidelines produced and maintained by the Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in the United States.
The HAZWOPER standard applies to five distinct groups of employers and their employees. For a full list please see 1910.120(a)(1)(i-v) and 1926.65(a)(1)(i-v) .
The HAZWOPER standard requires that a written certificate be given to each person certified for either 8-, 24- or 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
